Since 1977, Alchemy has designed and made gothic jewellery and lifestyle giftware products in their own studios and workshops in Leicester, England. Alchemy has since become the most famous and respected gothic designer and alternative jewellery brand name in the World, with their UK-made (Alchemy Gothic 1977), jewelry and giftware collections, and now many hundreds of other Alchemy-designed lifestyle products, officially made under license to Alchemy.

Art & Illustration

Alchemy Gothic is the biggest and most incredible collection of original and authentic, gothic, mythology and fantasy art in existence. Featuring dragons and fairies, demons and vampires and the famously immortal anti-hero from the Biblical underworld, Amzer, better known to most as The Alchemist.
The story of Amzer, from the Garden of Eden through the eons of time in his many forms of reincarnation, (Ossa Ravenhead, the Shadow Of The Rose, The Grim Sage, Dr von Rosenstein & Count Magistus, plus many others), and his bestiary of conspirators and adversaries, is told here in vivid images, as well as in words.

Alchemy Gothic is now synonymous, worldwide, with the definitive development of 'gothic', fantasy, mystic & supernatural, legendary and historical artwork and illustration, incorporating Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance and Victorian cultures.

'Alchemy Gothic' is also the brand name of Alchemy's trademark gothic-style illustration, artwork, designs and characters etc. Principally now, this referes to this original, distinctive source artwork and illustration and therefore, to most of the licensed products which are based upon its rich and prolific foundation, and which are branded under one of Alchemy’s prominent lables ‘Alchemy Gothic’ and, for more 'interpretted' collections and lower-priced items, the increasingly established paralel-brand of ‘A7 - Alchemy Licensed Designs’.

Alchemy Gothic and Licensing:

There are now hundreds of terrific, Alchemy gothic-style products of all descriptions using AlchemyGothic art and designs.

‘Alchemy Gothic’ and ‘A7 - Alchemy Licensed Designs’, plus ‘Alchemy Sub Rosa’ (fashion), 'Alchemy Argent' (925 sterling silver), and 'UL13 Alchemy' (contemporary Urban Lifestyle), are all brand names for Alchemy licensed products available around the world. These represent different aspects of their distinctive, gothic and contemporary style designs, artwork, and characters etc, and are all available under license to Alchemy. ‘Alchemy Gothic 1977’ however, is Alchemy’s own exclusive-products brand name and is therefore not available for licensing purposes.
